How our process works →

Restoring peatlands for long-term climate benefits

At Svenskemyr, restoration work includes ditch blocking, dam construction and tree removal to improve water retention and support peatland recovery. The project is implemented in cooperation with NABU.

The project is designed to conserve peat carbon, reduce greenhouse gas emissions from degraded peatland and support the recovery of wetland habitats. Any future carbon removals will depend on site conditions and monitoring results.
