2. What data do we collect and why?

2.1 Server log files

When you visit this website, your browser automatically transmits certain technical information to our hosting provider. This includes:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • Date and time of the request
  • IP address (anonymised or truncated where possible)

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) to ensure the technical operation and security of the website. Log data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted once it is no longer needed for operational purposes.

2.2 Website analytics

This website uses Webflow Analytics, a built-in analytics feature provided by Webflow, Inc. (398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). Webflow Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users across sessions. It collects aggregated, anonymised data about page views and visitor behaviour for the purpose of understanding how the site is used and improving its content.

Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding website performance).

As Webflow is a US-based service, data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Webflow participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and has implemented Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure an adequate level of data protection for such transfers. For more information, see Webflow's privacy policy at https://webflow.com/legal/privacy.

Note: If you have integrated additional third-party tools or scripts (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag), please review those tools' respective privacy disclosures and update this section accordingly.

3. Cookies

Webflow may set technically necessary cookies required for the website to function correctly. These cookies do not track your behaviour for advertising purposes and do not require your prior consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.

If you are unsure whether additional cookies are in use, we recommend checking your browser's developer tools or using a cookie scanner such as cookieyes.com to audit the site.

4. Links to external websites

This website may contain links to external websites operated by third parties. We have no control over the content or data practices of those websites. Please review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

5. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) — you may request confirmation of whether we process personal data about you and, if so, a copy of that data.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — you may request deletion of your data where no legal basis for continued processing exists.
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) — you may request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) — you may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — you may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at jfk@pc.foundation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Hamburg is:

Hamburgischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit

‍Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 7. OG

20459 Hamburg
